New York Roots

Serendipity! How fortunate am I, that I was inspired to start creating my own jewelry designs?


My history of world travel, my intense love of art, and my appreciation for other cultures
all converged into a passion that has lasted a lifetime.


I started my jewelry business in 1990 in New York. My design sensibility comes from my
attention to seasonal fashion and the appreciation for the collectability of a jewelry
wardrobe.


My collections have been showcased in many department stores, catalogues, and
independent fine jewelers.


In 2020, I relocated to Colorado and was newly inspired by the beauty of the breathtaking vistas and began creating the current Jan Rich Collections.

  • Inspiration

    When I started designing jewelry, I was drawn to the energy of precious and semi-precious gems for their infinite diversity of color.


    I was also inspired by the lustrous beauty of pearls. I blend these elements in my signature design style to give a sense of unique pattern, shape, and texture.

  • Materials

    We take pride in using precious metals exclusively, 14k gold and
    sterling silver, for their intrinsic value.

    Our Gold Over Sterling designs are plated with a durable finish of 14k gold.

    In most cases, our Sterling Silver designs plated with rhodium which prevents the silver
    from tarnishing.

  • Quality

    Jan Rich jewelry is artfully created to ensure the highest quality standards. We only use the best stones and pearls in our designs.
